Cells: The Universe Inside Us, opens this Saturday, March 28 at the Maryland Science Center!

but they’re a pretty big deal here at the Science Center!

Our latest permanent exhibit, Cells: The Universe Inside Us, opens this Saturday, March 28!

You are invited to travel about the exhibit much like a cell moves through the body, although ideally you will take a little more time to enjoy the facts and features. After all, it takes less than one minute for a red blood cell to complete one full lap around the circulatory system!

See how cells work to keep us healthy, learn about the role cells play in scientific advancement, watch commentary from cell experts and enjoy a multitude hands-on activities. Maybe even check out skin cells on your hand! You’ll be amazed at the busy-bodies that flourish within our own bodies.

Click here for more information on Cells: The Universe Inside Us
