			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>You&#8217;ve come a long way, baby! And so have we as a species. Because of you, we&#8217;re able to understand why we are the way we are.  The process and history of evolution and natural selection is a lot clearer because of your extensive research. I am able to type this entry because we have adapted and humans have opposable thumbs. It&#8217;s nearly impossible to fathom making it through day to day life without them! </p>
<p>This weekend we are throwing Darwin a birthday party to thank him for all he&#8217;s done for science and for humanity as well. You&#8217;re invited! No need for presents; just bring your curious brain. We promise it&#8217;ll be adaptacular! (and we&#8217;ll have cupcakes for the first 400 kids).</p>
