The Maryland Science Center is located at Baltimore’s Inner Harbor.

We’ve been sparking the imagination of kids (and adults!) since 1976, although our roots have been in place for much, much longer. The original Maryland Academy of Sciences was established in 1797! That goes to show that science has been cool for centuries and we’ve just made it fun in an interactive, hands-on kind of way. Our blog is simply the next step for the Science Center and is a new, wonderful way for us to interact with those who are curious!
