NASA wants you to name a piece of the International Space Station!
NASA would love to have you help them name Node 3 and its cupola set to be installed bythe crew of STS-130 Space Shuttle Endeavor targeted for launch in December 2009. Node 3 will house important environmental control and life support systems (ECLSS) to help ensure the astronaut’s continued safety. The cupola will be a wonderful addition to the International Space Station providing astronauts multiple windows perfect for observing the Earth from above and the vastness of space around them.
NASA would like the name to “reflect the spirit of exploration and cooperation embodied by the International Space Station.”
Voting is open until March 20, 2009 and a decision will be made in April of 2009!
